Gear Shaving Cutters : CTI manufactures various types of Shaving cutters such as conventional, diagonal and underpass.Special

profiles are incorporated on the cutter to generate tip relief, depth crowning, lead crowning

etc., on component.

Gear Shaper Cutters

Gear Shaving Cutters are

precision ground for finishing pre-hobbed or pre-shaped gears. All tools are supplied with

inspection and lead test charts.
Types:
Conventional, diagonal & underpass
RANGE:
0.8-8 Module and 30-3 DP
170 mm to 260 mm PCD.

Profiles:
Standard Involute, Tip Relief, Profile and Lead Crowning, Special profiles as per customer’s

requirement.
MATERIAL:
M2, ASP 2023 and ASP 2030.
Gear Shaper Cutters : CTI Designs and Produces ground Shaping cutters for involute splines,

worms and relief machined cutters for sprocket.

Product range includes Module series, DP series and CP series Shapers and different varieties

of disc type, hub type and shank type shaper cutters.

The material generally used for Shaper cutter is M35( 6-5-2+5% Co. ).Tin coated Shapers are

also supplied.

Sprocket Cutters designed for cutting sprocket teeth of roller-chain wheels according to BS,

ASA and DIN standards-DIN 8187,DIN 8188.
Milling Cutters and Hobs for Timing Belt Pulleys-DIN 7721,ISO 5294- XL, L, H, XH, XXH and

many other profiles.

Involute Gear Cutters
Involute Gear Cutters are supplied to cut any number of teeth in gears from 0.5 module to 50

module & 64 DP to 0.5 DP with maximum diameter of 360 mm. Conforming to BS 2518, IS 5698

in a set of numbers. Cutters having profile of particular no. of teeth and special milling

cutters are also supplied.
Chain sprocket hobs are manufactured from 1/4" pitch to 3" pitch conforming to DIN, BS &

as standards in a set of 3 Cutters to cut any no. of teeth in sprockets.


Scalping and Cylindrical Cutters
Scalping and Cylindrical Cutters : are manufactured from 6" dia to 8" dia & length from

16" to 20" in light & heavy duty.These are used for scalping copper & brass strips.

Material used is imported high speed steel in M2 & M35 grade.


Side and Face Cutters
Side and Face Cutters are

supplied from dia 50 mm to 300 mm & width from 5 mm to 50 mm. As per ISS & B85 in M2

& M35 material.Others products includes slitting saws angle cutters.

Gear Hobs

Gear Hobs:
Machine relieved & ground form Gear Hobs are manufactured in 'A','B','C' classes to cover the range

from 0.1 to 40 module & 64 DP to 0.8 DP conforming to DIN 3968, BS 2062.
Special Profile Hobs with Protuberance,Topping, Semi Topping, Pre Shaving, Pre Grinding &

as per customer requirement are also supplied

Spline Hobs
Spline Hobs for straight sided splines involute & serrations are

generally manufactured in machine relieved form. Worm Wheel hobs are

supplied in bore & shank type, single & multi start ground form spline & worm wheel hobs can be had on

request.

Chain Sprocket Hobs
Chain Sprocket Hobs are usually supplied in un ground form to cut roller

chain sprockets to DIN, American standards with the range from 1/4 " to 3" pitch or 5 mm to

76.2 mm pitch.
Multi start & ground from sprocket hobs can be had on request.


Inserted Blade Gear Hobs
Inserted Blade Gear Hobs are manufactured in the range 20 to 32 module having blades of HSS (M-2 or M-35)

materials and body made of carbon steel.
After introducing these hobs it has become the best import substitute to save money &

time. Damaged Blades can also be replaced.
